Goeshe's Ten Steps To Strip Lashes

Goeshe's Guide To Strip Lashes

1. Be sure that eyelids and fingertips are free of oil, dirt, and debris.

2. Remove both lashes from container and lay them iniside of the tray they were removed from.

3. With a pair of small shears, nail clippers, nail nippers or even a razor blade, trim the lashes to the desired width.

4. Apply  a thin strip of adhesive to the weft of the lash strip.  You may find that the adhesive forms balls of glue at the weft points.  This is ok as long as there is glue at the start and finish point of the lash.  Avoid using too much glue.

5. Allow ten seconds for the adhesive to dry.  You want the adhesive to be at least 50% dry to avoid sliding once you lay the strip.

6. Now here's where the work comes in!!  If you have to take your ring finger and hold your eyelid with your non-dominant hand as you lay the outer corner of the lash (side with the longest hairs) a the very end of your natural lash line.

7. From the outer corner of the lash strip, gently lay and tuck the lash weft.  The trick here is to go really slow and steady.  Dont be in a hurry or you may become discouraged.

8. Pinch the false lash with your natural lash as the base of both. Try to pinch them as close to the point at which your natural lashes begin to grow.

9. Press up on the false lash to manually curl your lashes.  You want to spend the last few drying minute pressing up on the false lashes so they will dry that way.

10. Allow 5 minutes for the adhesive to dry before applying eye make-up.
