Baby them edges!!!

A lot of ladies who wear extensions tend to neglect the exposed hair. This hair is left out of the braided foundation to cover the last tracks to be installed. This hair will require maintence just as it would if you didnt have the extensions. It is recommended that you shampoo and condition at least the exposed hair once a week. Sometimes you may be able to get away with putting a dab of your favorite conditioner on your edges, excluding the shampoo process. Wait a bit and rinse it. For best results blowdry on the coolest setting or even better air dry before running a warm flatiron over the exposed hair. Whatever you do treat them edges with much kindness. They are very fragile and if you are a relaxer client, be sure that your stylist relaxes your edges last. Stylists out there, raise the awareness of the care required. Keep away from tension services and when a full sew in is rendered, lighten up the tension when the perimenter is being braided. You can compensated for a loose braid with the tension from the thread. But whatever you do, don't start off braiding too tight. CHI has a product called PowerPlus that is great for treating starving follicles. Ask your stylist about it. Or contact GoesheHair at 575-4-GOESHE for ordering information. Mention Power Plus to the Rep!
