Ok so as you all know, it is prom season and Stemone Johnson of Kansas City has decided to add a little Retro vibe to her prom look! So we spent this morning dolling her up for tonights event. This look was achieved using a flat iron for thermal styling along with the use of CHI Royal Treatment products. Because this client is completely natural with no relaxer or chemical processing, her hair had to undergo a round of straightening at the perimeter of her hair. The middle was left in its natural texture to create the volume I needed to make this look a hit. Although in the beginning I thought that maybe she would need some "filler" hair, it turned out that she had enough lift and volume throughout the crown of her head, that we were cool without it. We did however, add some 18" extension hair to the back of this look to give it some more flare. Another GoesheInspired Look and she loved it!!
