Instructors of the Field

Hey to all my fellow barbers and stylists! I cant forget all you loyal instructors out there that bust your butts week in, week out to impart knowledge into your students. As a stylist of ten years, I have to admit that it was the driven career leaders that I have known over the years that have propelled me into the career I've always dreamed of. Instructors tend to be underappreciated by those who dont realize the sacrifice. Most instructors evolve from the chair to a class clinical floor to continue making the difference they've been making, just this time, they're making change happen from the school. I believe every great salon originiated from instructors who saw those stylists and barbers all the way to the end. I was fortunate enough to work with one of Kansas City's most respected instructors, Gloria Donato of Raytown Missouri. Under her watch, I recieved my full cosmetology license and am now studying to be an instructor just like her! Along with Gloria, as part of my network, I cannot fail to mention Shawn Reliford of Barbershopshawn. This is one Barber Instructor that cannot be matched. He has a remarkable way of causing a brand new student to exemplify the body mechanics and skill of a well seasoned barber. Its almost as though he pours himself into each and every student,individually, giving them the confidence and support they need to carry out the tasks of a professional barber. This field needs more instructors like these two! So with that being said, GoesheHair sends a hearty thanks to Gloria, Shawn, and the rest of you die hard teachers out there!! We are rooting for you!
